The other guy's spent that 50 mil on R&D many moons ago . That's why they have those sleds and we have our new old ones .  You know , the ones that make 10 more hp and burn less fuel than ours do . :bc:

Purple ?  FUCKING PURPLE ?     " And the big news from Arctic cat for 2019 is ............. Purple "        WTF .      :bc:

So maybe in 5 years cat will have a new and exciting sled?

ALPHA is for 2019 and was designed long before Textron took over, and for the record $50,000,000.00 buys a lot of R&D speed :bc:

You think $50 mil is enough?

That's cuz cat dumps em cheap. Otherwise every cat dealer would have 5 years of inventory laying around

We still have cat dealers with 6-7 year old stock.

You can snack all you want.  Polaris had two patents for progressive rate suspension.   The pro XS type on the outside and the rmotion type.  They have a legal battle with doo over the rmotion

Guys that actually rode them say the new XC rides and takes bumps better!

Well yeah it's got an rmotion now. Snowtech was giddy over the new sleds. What a huge new offering by Polaris, new chassis, new suspensions and new industry leading engine.

Best snowchecks program, best chassis, best gauge and now most powerful 2 stroke. Polaris is making moves! :bc:

What's wrong with Diamond Drive?

No reverse, slower, hard to work on, expensive go fix.  RevKevs (the original RevKev) failed in Maine a couple years ago.  What a shit show getting it off Coburn Mtn, (2nd highest peak in Maine) with a locked track.

Yes had issues with the DD as well in 04.  It was a massive pain and I'm glad it's gone.

Skidoo is really good at rebranding other people's good ideas and making them their own. Got to hand it to them, imitation is the greatest form of flattery and skidoo has no humility.

They really can squeeze some ponies out of that extra 50cc’s!!!!!!

At least on the demo ride ones that have the hot ECU programming. That single ring on the piston must help get them extra power as well, and extra durability, not.  I,m sure the ECUs  will be toned down for the regular Joes that have a short memory. I laugh at all the outstanding reviews from the early test riders. WTF are the suppose to say ? I,m surprised the Lesters weren,t invited to run them down Kevlar lake, so they could add to the glowing reviews. Time will tell, and Polaris first year releases ? Yup, they have been stellar. Now, IF they would only change that 4 year warranty, to say, 10K miles, then I might to start believing all the great engine durability claims.

Snowtech has very good reviews of the new Polaris sleds. I can't wait to hear more about them.

To be fair they get pretty excited about all the new stuff. Check back with SnowTech after a year on the snow and we’ll see what the opinions are then. The XC does look like a winner though. :bc:
