Exactly...when i smoked shit i was picking at it alot while it cooked.

So just throw a few different things on when you do it. Wings don't take long and they could be your appetizer :bc:

Looks like out of about 38# of raw meat we got about 24# of pulled pork. Took about 23 hours for one and 24 for the other. Two 19# roasts.

Some of it is going to a birthday party for my buddy tomorrow and the rest is getting packed up in 1&2# packages and going to the freezer.

I've had my connected from 50' away inside my production semi. :dunno:

What device are you connecting it to?

The new Treager Timberlines have WiFi connectivity.  $1700 for the smaller unit, $2,000 for the big one.

You could also fairly easily build your own with an Arduino and a couple temperature controllers (that's all the smokers use, with a K type thermocouple) for $100-150. :bc:

Why are you thinking you need to vary the temperature so much during the smoke?

I'm Canadian, The little one is $2500. The big one is $3000.

My iGrill has been disappointing from day one.  My smoker is 50 feet from the house so it never works. I've used it inside the house. From the oven to my office is less than 30 feet through one wall and nothing. Even standing in the kitchen it is spotty.

That said, I haven't tried using it since I switched to an Iphone. Maybe it will be better.

I currently have a Bradley electric and it would be nice to up the temp as air temps drop in the evening or to speed up the cook.

The iGrill may be accurate but the Bluetooth sucks. Its only good for like 25 feet at best. Half the time it wont connect even when stand right next to it. I want a WiFi unit.

I want to put something on in the morning when I leave for work and monitor it through the day.

I'd also like my Smoker on wifi so I can turn the temp up or down from anywhere.

Somebody build that.

Just use a wifi hvac temp controller.
