Well of course not. The Cat was a pre-production model. Was not a demo ride but on my own. The Polaris was a private sled. Similar weight to me. Took me one ride to get my RR set up to my liking and the only adjustment besides the clickers was to take some pressure off the front shock. Had to much ski pressure. My duallies will probably make me add it right back. The cat handled and rode better and felt way more responsive, but that is subjective. About 10 miles on both. lake and groomed but well ridden trail.

no?

what broke then?

:)

Not the belt. I did not follow much. Unsanctioned race. Herf ran his stocker in the open. Assuming it blew. No mention anywhere of final drive issues from anyone.

Nothing broke, they were so slow, they just gave up and rode back to the pits.

including the mod sleds?

either way... not a successful showing, which actually sucks.

Mechanical issue. Blew up. Shit happens. Guessing there were a few other brands that had issues, but again, a non sanctioned race. They left core quite a while ago. Basically a practice race.

That was only the first place checks, You have to give credit to Pine Lake and the Dyrdahl's they put on a Great race, almost everyone looks forward to it, it's borderline historic, well except for the guys that don't want you going over 50MPH, since they crash at 15..

Well that's a relief!

All they have to do now is look at one of the FS topics to find out how to get full shift!

I was told a friend of an engineer who is also tight with someone high up in management convinced them they don't need the full shift because it's perfect as is, so to save money next year they're going to switch to golf cart clutches.

Should save even more money and switch to mini bike clutches!  Brakes too!

Hot ECU, like CAT had in the demo 600's last winter.

Well, at least they didn't try to pass it off as a full on production sled like other shady oems and their hot ecu's
