When we sold my first business the wife and I drove cross country for 3 months...eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon were very nice.. Northern Idaho was amazing...South Dakota was very nice extremely diverse east to west (terrain wise) Glad you get to see the country by vehicle..IMO everyone should tour the USA by vehicle amazing place we call home. Many of my former neighbors agree because the attrition of Illinoisans leaving Illinois to move to Indiana is so great the governor of Illinois put a moving tax on it. Red state with a balanced budget and surplus in the Treasury. Not that I love republicans but I have to give former governor Mitch Daniels props for putting us on the right track. Reined in spending and taxes and inviting business to move to a more business friendly environment. I wish he would have followed thru with his plans to run for president years ago.
