They'll never have stability of the rails or pipelines unless the Ukrainians deem it in their best interest. Sabotage is king.

X2700
Without USA support where would Ukraine be at this point? How much more of our cash do they need to finish this? Is this our war now? probably could of rebuilt our entire electric grid for the money we’ve stuck in Ukraine and at least we would of gained something!!
USA Contributing Member $poorsledder$ Posted August 16, 2022 USA Contributing Member Share Posted August 16, 2022 What will eventually happen to make this really effect the rest of the world and something has to be done. What can happen that would really affect life in the US (food shortage, fuel shortage, etc). Right now it’s just something to Check out on the internet along with Trump documents and Biden handshakes.

Platinum Contributing Member Highmark Posted August 16, 2022 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted August 16, 2022 Far from over. Its likely that Putin underestimated Ukraine's resolve but they have been learning this entire time. Its far from over and will cost all sides including the US.

Ukraine doesnt have any resolve, they have been a failed state for months. Russia has issued 1 million passports to Ukrainian citizens so they can get access to benefits. Thousands of Ukrainians are fleeing to Russian occupied areas for safety. What Ukrainians remain are being forced to fight at gun point or being used as human shields. 70% of the money and weapons that has been sent has been stolen. Zelensky and others have been caught having multiple shell corps and off shore accounts. Any military successes have been carried out by western actors. Russia is getting stronger and the world is getting weaker. This is the worst clusterfuck of our generation. 1

The Ukis used their billions of dollars of western weapons to blow up the ruskis attic stock that didnt cost them anything to use. All the while blowing up their own roads and buildings with said billions. Now that Russia occupies the east the Ukis are getting slaughtered and driven out and need more weapons and troops.

Compared to the cost of the last three American wars, this is peanuts. In the meantime Russia is getting depleting everything. Meanwhile america gets to test all those new goodies with no risk to life or limb.

I'd argue its costing Ukraine more and what we've already given is almost Russia's yearly military budget.
