SHADOSPRIT
Does anyone here do anything with vending machines? My company bought the other part of a building that is attached to ours a few years back. There was a pepsi machine left there and I was told I could have it. But of course we cant find the key. Machine plugs in and works, even has the dollar bill receiver on it. I am wondering if anyone can steer me in the way to get a new key? The lock says something around it but we cant make it out. Maybe a sticker on the side?

SHADOSPRIT
I think these pop out and you unscrew a long mechanism to actually open it? Not sure drilling will do it.

Maybe a sticker on the side? See that slotted area? Drill it through with a 1/8” high speed bit. Some are hardened so you may need some hone oil to keep the bit cool and cutting. Sometimes you get lucky and it’ll pop open after drilling it through. Most of the time you’ll need to give the center a few raps with a hammer and small drift. I worked in vending from "80-"86. Locks would occasionally fail. Drill em out and replace it.
