Anler
Those cars do nothing for me now. I think my wifes buick is faster than most of them. When I was a kid a guy in our neighborhood had a Road Runner with a 6 pack. We thought that was the fastest car ever. One of my buds had a 69 442 with a 455. Thing used to melt the tires at will. But drank gas like Ben going thru coors lite.

A Stock ls3 realistically puts out around the same power as the fabled 426 hemi. Oh and that list was dominated by GM and dodge no surprise there
racinfarmer
I'd like a 70 Porsche 911 in Mexico Blue. Don't think they painted them that color in 70, but still.

Platinum Contributing Member Blackstar Posted November 20, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted November 20, 2018 Surprised by the number of automatics on that list. I always admired the muscle cars but never felt the need to own one.
racinfarmer
Probably maybe favorite 1970 car. To hell with all the muscle cars.
smokin george
It would be funny to have a time machine and transport an 87 GNX back to 1970.

Platinum Contributing Member steve from amherst Posted November 20, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted November 20, 2018 Hell if I had one that powerball a few weeks back I would have spent 2-3 mil on late 60's muscle cars. Doorider
Camry's and Accord 's have the same 0-60 times as these "muscle cars" 🤣
Gold Member BOHICA Posted November 20, 2018 Gold Member Share Posted November 20, 2018 Only thing of value to me auto wise from that era is prolly Cadillac or Lincoln. Those are some bad ass cars vs the muscle cars.
