You do realize that the USA already has a ton of guns in the hands of citizens that aren't registered? There is no way the government would be able to round them all up at this point. It’s going to grow far worse as time marches along. I don’t believe that there’s one or two causative factors to this. I think people, when faced with a grizzly and horrendous situation, try to compact it down to one or two root causes for their own comfort. That type of thinking will no doubt be the rule of land. It’s a disasterous approach, but one that will be hugged to the end. At least the Muslims are getting a break.
