The switchback assault may be the best snowmobile in the history of forever...

I'm pretty enamoured with my 17.  Pretty goddamn awesome snowmachine in the 450 miles I've ridden it.  And I haven't even had it in deep snow of top speed lakes yet. :bc:

It’s a decent, light duty consumer machine for entry level and some intermediate riders with limited skills.

We rode across lake gogebic yesterday and it was the SBA, a 2018 Pro s 800 and a 2018 cat 800. The SBA laid waste to them even on top end. We are going to do some ice runs today, just so nobody forgets who's top dog. :news:

Only complaints I have is:

1. That postage stamp snow flap is fucking worthless

2. It's pretty icy here and I wish I had shaper bars and studs.

How’s that 144 behave in the tight and twisties? Little more effort to throw that thing around?

No not really, it handles pretty good. It's icy out here tho and I could stand some better carbides and some studs.

Studs on a 144 crossover :lmao: Fuck that.

What do you expect when it’s 40 degrees and then freezes at night?

Here,s an honest report from a guy that just sold his wonderful POS poolaris.

The top things in no particular order, you must of got the only good one.

And I get better mileage with my 240 HP Turbo Cat, than my bragging buddy did on his 800 poolaris.

Rough ride can’t be fixed without $$$
Shit hand warmers
Fuel and oil consumption (high mileage riding it is a big deal)
Hard seat
Vibration engine and feeling it in chassis
Runs hot all the time without scratchers down
Awkward handle bar position turning right
