"But the DOO 850!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Remember the Polaris shit talking about how the new Axys was faster than the Cat turbo?  HOLY SHIT!!!  That was just awesome!.. Some of those videos of them racing made me laugh until I pissed.  FUCKING BEAT DOWNS!!!!!

Yup, I,ve got a couple of riding buddies in our group that had a 850 doo, and a poolaris.

The 850 was gone after a couple of rides, and the poolaris vibrator in our group constantly gets beat by every other sled in our group.

Hey, nothing wrong with being the 4th fastest sled out there, and getting the worst gas mileage to boot, in a group of 4. LOL

I find the 800 straight line racers just a notch above the hilarity line over the 600 engine mod guys.  Actual racers excluded of course.  "What kind of HP can I can with a new dome, pipe, "rage cage" and a can in my 600?"  For half the money and twice the gain...trade for an 800 you meatloaf!!!

Nope, I,m trying to show you sleds, that real men ride.

Those turbos are mid life crisis / small dick guy sleds. Unless you have a unique application for them (ie. Racing) the 2 stroke is a better suited trail/mountain sled.

And I have to laugh out loud some more about your non-sensicle garble about the poo 800 being a slow vibrator. Nobody who has ridden one would say that. You're a troll.

I only comment on what I see first hand, not read on the internet. Your results may vary.

That's funny because I have ridden all but the new 850. The poo 800 is not slow. And the axys chassis (having not ridden the g4 yet) is arguably the best in the biz right now. That real world analysis right there spanky. And I'm a Doo guy.

Best in the biz, at what ? Our group are all groomed trail riders. Any new sled out there werxs great on groomed trails, and that is what we do.

It,s all about having some extra power on tap for me. The 2 strokes don,t have it, especially above 60-70 mph.

Agreed. The axys is a great sled not sure what frosty is on.  I've ridden a bunch of the xs doos and they are top notch. If the g4 is better it is a bug win for doo. Cataha chassis wise is way too far behind and their 2003 2 stroke sdi tec

The cat does one thing well.  The age old saying of what wins on Sunday sells on Monday is no longer true as cat needed a Textron buyout to stay in business.  They already went bankrupt once. Fact is the ctec is 2003 tech and the pro cross chassis is showing it's age. And I have a 2016 cat. :dunno:

1st.  Racing has always been their "thang".  It's why they have a hard time trying to transition their sleds into more "consumer friendly" models, IMO.

2nd:  You may want to tell Poo to update their sales brochure then.  Somebody isn't paying atteniont to what is true or not.

I rode a Freeride for 4000 miles with the etec, and the SKS for 2400 miles. I'd have to say the Polaris 800 HO felt a little snortier seat of the pants.  The new 850 I'm sure is a runner, I'll get to line up with Dmann on his new Freeride 850 137 1.75",  should be a good match up for my Assault with the 2"  I'm gonna venture to guess that I'll get him out of the whole for a couple lengths, and then he'll finger walk by on top end.  We'll see I guess.  But at the end of the day, a couple sled lengths at top end really means diddly in the scheme of things imo. :bc:

You can chalk up to bullshit when a die hard Doo guy tells you the 850 is awesome. But when everybody says it, there is substance there. Zambroni and ezra have butthurt...

Im guessing 2022 will 2012 all over again for cat...doo will already be releasing the gen 5 and cat will have a copy of the gen 4.

In all actuality, who gives a fuck about horsepower on the new 800? They all are mod 800 sled horsepower from 5 years ago. I very rarely have mine clamped and when I do it's plenty fast.

Pretty much. I ride with 2 guys that have them and although 1 was a lemon and had I think a bolt come loose internally and grenade the motor at 1500 miles and was eating belts every 500 miles. It absolutely had the best fit and finish and smoothest motor. Hes got an 18 xrs this season.
