Sitting in hearst for the night. Rip back to Cochrane in the morning then drive home. Trails are good.

  • Got a bridge stripped of the rotten and soft planks today. Good day weather wise to do it.

  • I imagine some fathers feel uncomfortable around their gay sons and just let it be.....

Some guys feel so heroic about their epic adventures, that they have to rush to their FS keyboard..... LMAO.  The rest of us, just go sledding when we can.  :)

Doesn't talking on sled forums count for some mileage....:dunno:

Lol, sure you did.  You also think 180 miles is "major mileage."  Nope, this will be the first weekend.

We shall all get you a hero biscuit, as you have been out 2 times more than me.  I like to wait for open trails, but that's just me.

Good to see you doing the Women on Snow ride though.  Did you do the Rolex Flex for the girls?

No, you need to wait for friends.....not trails....sad reading your posts....

see you later. Riding tomorrow....enjoy the key board

Well, that is what today is all about....hey, look at me.....

But seriously, I love to see pictures of the trails, even if I am not the one there, I enjoy seeing others enjoying the sport :bc:

At the age most of us are at (I think), key board riding does not hurt as much.....

We're riding this weekend.  Finally got my ol' girl fully assembled..... Lol

You mean friends who don't get butthurt over a FS post?  Got lots of those, thanks.  :)

Have a good ride boys!

So, tell me something, Puzz and Poncho must have been childhood or teenage friends at some point......right....

Yeah, when you're 17!  lol

I like the sled pics too, but I could care less if somebody else is busy with their life and can't ride as many weekends.  And many people I rode with 20+ years ago, no longer ride (family commitments, priorities, etc.  ) If friends can or can't make the ride, fine either way by me.  There's always another weekend.

I was late with my own sled waiting for parts ...... doesn't bother me in the least.... I've ridden for 40 years, and almost everywhere in Ontario and QC. (except Gaspe).  1 or 2 weekends won't kill me..... :)

x2 on the hurt.... knees and back feel it.

I thought they were besties.

It’s a love/hate relationship, they love to hate each other 😝

I don't hate anybody.  And FS is not something to get worked up over...

(Well, except when Killer sends transsexual escorts to Ben's house....)

Ride safe, EVERYBODY!  Every yahoo will be out this weekend.... wink, wink.....

No real big deal but does anyone from the Barrie, Midland, Wab, Orillia area know why trail 422 is still red in the middle of the Simcoe County Forest?  Doing a loop up that way tomarrow and I can navigate around it but it is a nice way of getting in or out of Midhurst without having to use a rail bed.

Maybe a bit of road rash,  not alot of snow up here.   I am going to bet you can travel 422 and make it  just fine as they haven't groomed or updated that trail

don't forget if around next weekend

We invite you to join us Sat Feb 17 and Sun Feb 18 from 11-2 at the intersection of the C trail and B trail east for our annual BBQ trail lunch. Jumbo hot dogs, French fries and hot chocolate available for a donation. Proceeds go towards the purchase of equipment for ongoing trail development and maintenance. Stop and say hi and have a bite to eat. Hope to see you there.

Thanks for the trail update.

Love to be there next weekend but I have to work a Trade Show for our company in Montreal from the 15th to the 18th.  Stupid national building supply buying group that shall go nameless put their national show on the Family Day weekend.  Bunch if idiots.   Several of my Ontario accounts have said they are flying in Thursday, placing their bookings and flying out Friday.  Wish I could do that but as a vendor, I'm stuck all weekend.  Which is why My son and I will do the Barrie, Penatang, Orillia loop tomarrow.  Then Sunday on the Simcoe, Delhi, Tillsonburg loops.  Better shine up my gas credit card LOL!

sounds great, should be fairly business the  next 2 weeks

Rode the B trail from Orillia over to B112 today. The yellow section was in better shape than the green section. South of the B trail needs more snow.

Lots of snow on the lakes north of Port Severn.

Got another ride in today with my son. Port Perry trails were great again but I was disappointed the entrance into the Ganny and in a couple k past there were rough as hell. It was like that yesterday but I thought they would have groomed last night? Not a slam as usually the Ganny is awesome so I can only assume a groomer is down or there is no one to drive it? Overall, a pretty good day with lots of sleds out. I don't work Fridays but I had no idea lots of others didn't either. By far the busiest Friday I have ever seen out there! :D
