Sitting in hearst for the night. Rip back to Cochrane in the morning then drive home. Trails are good.

  • Got a bridge stripped of the rotten and soft planks today. Good day weather wise to do it.

Impossible..... there's too much vintage junk in the way; it would surely hit one of those first.

No track stand, just cold hard numbers.  :)  Extremely accurate DOO instrumentation.

I bet, good on you.....what was the recall on the Indy 600 that pasted you?  I will post my 1200 speedo tomorrow. I have a recall at 120 or 122. I can’t remember it’s on my work computer.

Lol.  How's the Blade running?

First time I ever saw a Blade was in QC.  We were unloading our ZX Doos (around 2000/2001).  Guy pulls in with an Escalade, big enclosed V nose, 2 Blades, and 2 ZX Doos.  NY plates.

Most exotic sled I had ever seen, until the Redline.  :)

WORK computer?  And they approve such usage?

No, just post a pic of the trackstand used.  :)

Didn't get passed this weekend, but asshatted-by quite a few Cookie Dough Riders, mostly with MX helmets and GoPros.  Couldn't see if they had full avalanche gear or not..... in Muskoka, ya just never know!

Worst guy I saw though (I'll be honest - he was on an XRS), guy comes flying over a hill towards me, way over on my side..... and it was one of those road sections of trail like for a mile or so.  There was snow on it, but who rides like that on a road?  lol

Post some pictures.   Good to see you are finally riding again.

Finally?  Lol.  Well, yeah, now that the trails are OPEN!

Didn't take too many; a few of the sled.  I was more concerned with the cobbled-together Doo holding together!  Only real issue I had was erratic fuel quantity readings.... and I somehow popped the fuse for the heated visor.

But she rides well, even at a true verified 116 mph.  :)

Likely your helmet plug, when unplugged and sled running grounded on the sled somewhere. I always carried extra fuses for the visor, the 1200 usually popped a few during a season.....and give it up about the closed trail thing....old joke...

No complaints. Liberty engine.... Polaris clutching... Can't get any better.....

Blade is a rideable sled. The Redline is an expensive static display unit

My cord is sorta the backwards version (the only length that could ground anywhere,  is sheathed in rubber, not the "male" end).

And no, I take TRESPASSING quite seriously.  :)

Nice. Not bashing but I always preferred the look of the XR.  Is that the new 850 on the left?...vast improvement in looks.

Hmmm... which is worth more?  :)  A Redline would be a cool find though.  Any snowmobile designed in California, is bound to be good!

That was the reason for Blade's demise..... you build a sled around a Polaris powertrain, you ain't gonna make it.  :hdchr:

Speaking of 850’s. We saw a few on the trails.  Talked to a guy who bought a new 850 MXZ X Rene he said he also bought a new 800 Assault too....must be nice to have that kind of coin.

You?  Bash?  Nooooooooooooooooo......

Well, when  it comes to aesthetics, we'll have to take your opinion with a grain of salt.  As you think a new XRS is ugly, but a BlowRide is beautiful..... :)

Regardless carry extra fuses

Shit, you used my track stand again.....I knew I should have taken it back.  Good thing it didn’t skip off the stand and hit your neighbours house.

That sounds like something that would happen to Custom John & a customer's sled.

I know what you mean.  I know a couple brothers who get brand new Polarii every year or two.

I just preferred the XR look....take your meds....get to bed...

The DOO has a spare fuse holder.  And I carry an extra relay just in case..... :)

I like the XR too, had two of them.  One ride on my friends sled convinced me to buy one......I think I like this one better though.

I only take Cialis when I go motorboating.

Buy some decent studs before you hit the lakes next time.
