AKIQPilot
More fun on the lake with the kiddos. I picked up one of those floating water carpets for the kids to play on. They love it.

When I was a kid I lived on a mountain brook. Very little if any sun got to it as it had a pretty steep drop rate and was walled in with a lot on NH granite. At it's warmest point it was only in the upper 50's. We were in it all summer long. I even had to see a specialist because I broke out in hives when swimming in the cold water. They prescribed benadryl and it worked.

ckf
Good afternoon gentlemen. Sunny and 72 here in Vermont. I just mowed my neighbors lawn and the black flies attacked me whilst I was mowing. They haven't been bad when we've been hanging out on the deck.

BTW...I did your pics for the last two racers unless you went in and changed them at the last minute. All I can say is that I did better for you than I did for myself

irv
Another beauty morning here, and it's shaping up to be a great weekend. Trailer bound soon to get things opened up finally but with all the covid rules/regs in place, it definitely isn't going to be the same. No socializing, no putting docks or lifts in, no gathering around the campfire. Hope this is all lifted within another week.

jammin
Morning. 55 or so in the beautiful Northwoods of WI. Made it up Thursday and had a couple broken pipes. They got fixed early yesterday morning. Young son and young daughter and her BF got here last night. Was sawing logs and heard the well pump keep cycling which forced me to get up at 3am to see what was going on. Made coffee, walked outside and sure enough the mixer for the outside shower busted and was spraying all over. Turned off the spicket and kept hearing water running.... went in the well pit and shut down the water. Thinking the pex burst somewhere under the cabin and of course where there is minimal crawl space. Between me, drew and Joey we should be able to handle it... "I think" lol. Platinum Contributing Member Jimmy Snacks Posted May 23, 2020 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted May 23, 2020 Busy, busy around here...my daughter and I just got back from Meijers in Petoskey and overspent as usual. A lot of people out and about enjoying the weather...stores and restaurants seem to be doing decent business.

ckf
after a chilly start with temps in the upper 30's the sun is helping warm things up. The local weather reporter just mentioned that this is our longest stretch without any precipitation since September 2018.
