Look at the bright side at least  that way you can own it half a day before wrecking it.

Good to know.  However..he didn't direct that sweet insult at me..so, I just wrote it down so I can remember it later.  I did forget he was the "boat dumper" though.

Seriously though, I look at it as a learning experience. I talked to my buddy about it last night. If we had been flying one at a time it probably wouldn't have happened. When I fly with rob we take turns. The one not flying trying to help spot where the drone is. When you are flying you are watching the camera view on your tablet.

No, I went for the Phantom 4 Advanced +.  It's almost the same with a larger camera sensor. The + is the version that comes with the monitor attached to the remote. One of the problems with using your phone or tablet is that they aren't bright enough when in direct sun. The one attached to the remote has twice the brightness as most phones or tablets. https://www.dji.com/phantom-4-adv

BTW, @NaturallyAspirated the new drone will be able to shoot 4K at 60 fps, and 1080 at 120 fps.

I still say an intervention is needed before this spirals out of control...
