I'll likely re-up the subscription just before the first race...  don't know if I'll be reporting results as in the past  though.   unless you want to buy a results subscription.    :lmao:

Went through to cancel my account online and got this surprise.  Looks like they will take 20% off so $127.20 instead of $159.

Always enjoyed following his progress.  Had a rough couple years there where injuries really plagued him, but last year I thought he  really showed a lot of improvement.  I'm sure though the vlogs will still be worth watching.  Those guys seem to always have a good time.

anything for existing customers who've consistently paid them through the bullshit?

will have to check my actual expiration date but like everything else in this world it was far more justifiable at a reasonable rate.

Idk if it’s really a gullible thing, sounds like everything was set up how it was supposed to be. You can run a legit snocross team and still have some shady criminal shit going on. Interested to hear the rest of that story if/when it comes out.

There are 2 wars going on right now. Textron makes money on defense contracts. You think they are going to fiddle fuck around with arctic cat anymore? Selling one guidence system for a bomb to the military probably makes them more money than cat has the entire time they have owned it.

Then they need to sell off asap.  Or, Cat will end up a totaled line item loss on their balance sheet.  Honestly, I'm not sure this wasn't the plan all along.  They certainly ran it like that was the plan.

The way they have ran cat is standard operating procedure for textron when they buy a side show company like that. IMO there is must be some kind of tax advantage they get for buying a tanking company, gutting and keeping it afloat to show a loss on the books.

It's certainly a big tax advantage assuming they are doing well enough in other areas to throw it away.  Not sure if they are or not but, just looking back at every step they took, it looks like they wanted the write off.

It’s exactly what they do. I also don’t think they actually wanted to release the catalyst. They either couldn’t find a buyer or a deal fell through so they had to release something to keep the company somewhat relevant. That’s probably why they have fiddled fucked around with bringing catalyst to market.

Or, wanted to dump inflated and pretend losses into R&D off their spreadsheet.

Honestly, it's almost better to think that was the plan all along.  If it wasn't, they are just inept as hell.

It was all planned. If it wasn’t textron themselves would not be in business. Remember when then they put that lady as the president and I called it that day saying she won’t do shit, wont be there in 18 months, and will be moved into their aerospace side because of her background. Sure enough that happened. History repeats itself

Word on the street is the plant shutdown in TRF is going to be longer than what they have announced.  They now have less than 20 engineers.  A powersports company can't run on 20 engineers.  I'm sure Textron is cutting anything but absolutely necessary costs so they can put the business up for sale.  It will certainly go for pennies on the dollar with the market conditions right now.  Argo purchasing them makes a lot of sense.

Polaris has also had many rounds of layoffs this year also.
