PPP was dumb but basically available for anyone smart enough to grab it.  That was horrendous, however allowing people to bail on their financial obligations doesn't make that better.  You really can't be this dumb. ..

PPP should have never happened or it should have been very limited. Both my wife and I could have taken PPP but like many other businesses at the time we didn't need it and there's also integrity and honesty in play there also. I know plenty of people who took PPP and most are well enough off that they didn't need it. PPP was a perfect example to reveal the greedy slob side of people and boy did it ever.

Cry me a river   Same with a small business who makes it while a large corporate competitor sucks of the government tit.  Again - gotta have a grievance and boogieman.

No shit dummy I am against that too .

See that is my point of you not being Smart. You cant focus without going "ya but ya but" ... Just a bias hack stuck in the Dem circle jerk.

This nonsense doesn't teach Young People shit , hand me outs dont work for longevity for most people. The struggle is what makes you strong.

how many elected officials took it?

MTG comes to mind, Gaetz?  Some Dems?

Covid, if it was one thing I feel most here can agree with was the biggest $ grab in the history of mankind.

I havent read this proposal but does this mean Biden is going to pay off all the lenders?  ONce again, just like the last round of this bullshit.   he can say hes excusing the borrowers responsibility but who eats the debt?            the lenders beat this back once how can he do it again..?

You take out a loan, you pay it back plain and simple. Has nothing to do with free education in other countries. That’s a different conversation

It's not free in other countries. Nothing is free, you're paying for it one way or another.

I like it the way it is here. Mind you there should be a cap on what they can charge.

Yep - the universities and what they charge are more of the problem than anything else.  It's absurd.

And yes - you took out a loan, you freaking pay for it.  Screw this debt forgiveness bullshit.

It’s money well spent.

On an education, sure provided you pick something that gives you the opportunity to pay back the loans after. I don’t want to pay for anyone’s education with my tax dollars. Already taxed enough

What about all those wealthy greedy slobs who took the PPP loans? PPP had a far greater price tag than SL’s. All those capitalists who took it are now socialists.

Sort of an idiot if you don't take free money.  Policy was jacked and dumb as fuck, but even more stupid to not take what is offered to you.

Some of us have integrity and don’t trust govt. and you’re a complete moron if you think that money was free, super stupid for you to say that. Yet you missed the point of my post, not surprised.

Didn't miss the point.  To you it is free.  Outside of the portion you'll be paying back in taxes, but now instead you get to pay without getting the free part to you.  Idiotic.  Blaming that shit on trust is sad.
