Mark Cuban rumours

Guest

Recommended Posts

Him stepping away from Shark Tank and selling his majority of the Mav's has the rumour mill churning out a possible presidential run. He says no way for 24 but nothing about the future. He said years ago he would run if he has solutions to the main issues. Claimed to be strongly independant but if forced to chose a party would pick Republican.

Thoughts?

NBA is losing popularity like mad.  He's also a smart businessman.  Mav's are worth over $3 billion now.  Partly because of the complete focus on a massive playoff schedule that devalues the regular season.

He's also leaving Shark Tank after 15 seasons at the same time. Coincidence?

I heard that he is teaming up with Sheldon Adelson in an effort to bring gambling to Texas.🤔

Isn't that who is buying his shares in the Mav's ???

I hadn't heard that theory yet

He's got Reality TV skillz and qualifications...

I think his youthfullness compared to the current offerings on top of his intelligence would be a huge breath of fresh air for you guys. Someone with some common sense is needed not some windbag disruptor that thinks he's gonna drain an undrainable swamp. Cuban does have common sense.

Trump's only qualification was his business background and Trumpers lauded him for it. I think we can all agree when it comes to private businessmen Cuban is far more successful than Trump and also smarter and has respect, integrity and most important common sense. I think he would do what is best for America without trying to build his own legacy as Trump is trying to do and failing bad.

Maybe he just wants some time for himself.   Could be illness, could be political aspirations....could be the dude just wants less responsibility.

He is 65, unlike most egomaniacs , maybe he just wants to retire.

I read he was retaining control of the BB operations.  I saw it more as a divesture step of some assets which are at all time highs.  The Shark Tank stuff is probably not woth the time it takes.

One of the guys at work was just talking about this yesterday, and how maybe it means a run for President in 2028.  I sure as hell wouldn't be opposed to him stepping into the ring and seeing what he's got for ideas ... the dude's no dummy.  As a country, we need a change and he may be the right option (albeit, maybe 4 years too late).  The thought of him turning to politics is definitely interesting.

Cuban as a Repub would shock me.  He's pretty far left.  But I suppose he's smart enough to realize only the Repubs have open primaries.  Dems pick their candidate in committee and only let their voters think their primary vote matters.

If Cuban ran for 2024 as a Republican ole Donny would be madder than a polecat with a red hot poker in its ass.

where do we go encourage him to get into the race now?

Nice to see you're interested in a real leader and not just someone to make the Dems cry :bc:

That was a pretty lame stance to take, this is much better. Good work:thumbsup: There may still be hope for you.
