Nice! Is that from MA? Its been a wacky season this year. Probably the strangest that I can recall. Lots of leaves went straight to brown and down due to fungus from all of the rain. Then the next ridge over is beautiful.

The one with the reflection is bad ass!

Thanks! I almost didn't even try as it was a pretty good distance away. I cranked up the zoom lens all the way to 300mm and snapped a few pics.

Birch trees are changing here now and the red oaks are starting to as well.

That's some nice color in the top pic. A lot of our birches have been going to brown and down for several years now.  The tamarack trees are turning yellow now.

The top pic is a couple of the oaks along my yard and across the road. They certainly can be colorful. This is a smaller one along there. A yellow tamarack swamp can be kinda cool this time of year too.

We're closing up the cottage in the UP... a week later than planned and most of the leaves were on the ground.  Several hours of lead blowing and raking later... it's time for a nice hot shower, then off to the pub for prime rib and old fashioned's.

Did a 3 hour drive each way to pick up the “new to me” truck. The colours and views were spectacular. Only managed a couple shots from the drivers seat.
