Could you guys in the N.E see the northern lights last night? My Facebook feed was covered with that this morning.

It was cloudy here last night.

Crawford...Franconia...

Basically 153 to 302 to 3 to Lincoln for lunch...Kangamagus back to 16 to 153

I'm just south of ossipee..

I used to commute to North Conway from Ossipee for years via Rte 153. Sounds like a great ride. Have Fun!

going to colebrook this weekend for few days of riding. some charity poker run on Saturday.  see how the leaves look.

The forecast is for lows in the upper 30s to low 40s later in the week. That should help push the colors along. It's looking like the colors are going to be muted a bit this year because of all of the rain this summer.

They said the same thing here because it was so dry last year.... Colors came anyway.

But it has been dry this summer, there are some sugar maples down the block from me that have COMPLETELY dropped all their leaves already, but because of dryness.  The ones next to my place got a good overnight soaking with the hose a few times, so not really even turning yet.

We have some trees turning straight to brown and dropping off already.  :(

I've made that ride in my truck, we used to do the Ammonoosuc NETRA turkey run every year.

We ended up going over Evans Notch to Gorham back to N.C and 153 home....no real foliage yet, a couple of early birds.

Evans Notch is often overlooked. I've always enjoyed it.
