Only thing that cleans em up is a good old forest fire

Your trailer park of a country is fucking up my vacation today with unhealthy air in Northern WI again.  Get your shit together.

Ticks seem about normal here always have at least one on one of us if we go out in the woods. We’ve yet to have any attached this year just crawling around but we’re pretty good about doing a thorough check when we get back inside.

The warm winter may well have an effect on this.

This is the 1st year since moving to VT that we've had them on us and the dog.  The cold winters are what I think has kept them down here in the past :dunno:

My mom has had Lymes since 1989 , it has been really tough on her. My dad just got diagnosed with it 2 days ago. It has been wreaking havoc on his joints and they’ve struggled to diagnose it with him.

I haven’t left wooded areas in weeks. Can’t say I found one tick. Back in May the ticks were insane. I pulled a dozen off my dog’s hard over the course of a week. They do go through hatching cycles so maybe we’re heading back into another round. Yuck.

They're bad by me too. I treat the clothes i wear in the woods with Permethrin. Works great and kills most of the little bastards before they get to you

That’s some good stuff. I use it on my hiking clothes. I didn’t know that the sawyer brand is safe for dogs as will, although it can kill a cat. I sprayed my lab back in may after a major tick infestation. I never found another tick on him. Used the instructions my vet gave me.
