If course they were going to get approval....  NY wants everything electric...

No more gas cook stoves in the future ..  No, atomic power ...

Something has to change to meet New York's green agenda.

Best part, the land owners will be paid for their investment......

Town will do better for it's tax base.

Win / Win proposal

Is it public lands or Private lands?

I haven't found anything yet specifying it either way. Maybe they bought as much private acreage as they could close to that transmission line

Solar is more unattractive to the landscape than wind.  :news:

It’s really only fine if connecting to the grid isn’t possible

How many acres does it take to build a PGA golf course?

Most golfers expect a golf course to have 18 holes with a par of about 72, plus a practice range and practice greens. This typically requires from 140 to 180 acres of useable land. Nine holes with a par of 35 or 36 should take about half the acreage.

Build the course through a windmill farm and a solar farm. Could add a whole new element to the game!
