Not really, only theories. No one knows what the conditions will be during the transition, so it's impossible to predict accurately.

The reason countries who aspire to be socialist/communist often have large militaries is because the US and other capitalist countries would constantly invade them otherwise.

Communism has always been seen as a global system. Communism is stateless. Socialism, otoh, doesn't have to be stateless, but it can be.

Dude, that's  not what's happening.  You have traitors that need to be called out.  It's clear to many.

What's not happening?

Serious question, is there any area of the world that what you want to happen with our government is happening in the world today?? If not currently is there an area that has tried your ideals in the past (within 100 years or so)

Capitalism didn't have to meet these requirements to become the dominant economic system.

Any new system will be implemented over a long.period of time as humanity discovers a better way. Eventually capitalism will become a thing of the past like feudalism.

A lot of your guys' honest questions can be answered by reading a little bit. Get a copy of the communist manifesto and read it. It's very short and a pretty easy read.

Not into failed cults sorry

So I believe that the way things are going our economy is going to implode eventually so what happens then? Communism? What happens on the first day of communism and going forward. Besides mass starvation and looting and killing and shit. What is the communist agenda? @motonoggin or anyone other communists that have any other input into this I am genuinely curious.

Umm, not being a dick but that in no way shape or form answers what I asked..

I mean go back 200 years if needed, but I think a lot of advancement has been made in tech, way of life, and availability has been in the last 100 years, so I figured that would be a better thing to look at..Any where in the world is cool too..

I'd just like a comparison of my way of life to the way of life people  lived who shared your ideals.

Communism is usually for pug nosed fat girls with short bright hair in university. Most people usually grow out of it by the time they have a job. Some don’t have the mental capability of growing out of it

I don't think that would work, you're relying on the people to follow amendments off of something written a 180 years ago, man obviously already is not and did not follow something written in 1776, granted that was 245 years ago

Just because something hasn't really existed doesn't mean it can't/won't. Humanity wouldn't have made it this far if we were never willing to try new things. There have been a few attempts at establishing socialism, but there was never an instance where workers owned and controlled the means of production for any significant amount of time. Most of these attempts were crushed by capitalist interference and sabotage. The coup of Iran is a good example from the last half of last century. There are also tons of examples in South and Central America.

Capitalism didn't exist until we invented it, and the transition from feudalism to capitalism took at least a century to become the dominant system.

I know what your intentions are by asking this question, and if you want to engage in bad faith arguments, I won't entertain them. This subject requires intellectual honesty if you want to actually learn something instead of seeking confirmation of preconceived notions.

Wouldn't work for what?

I'm suggesting getting the least little bit informed rather than asking questions that have already been answered in the text.

Iran is a good example. Every country who nationalized their natural resources (oil) was immediately dealt economic sanctions or military force. And of course the constant coup attempts. However I don't think the problem is necessarily capitalism as much as it is certain capitalists. Funny how the old rulers still pulls the worlds strings.

I disagree, the problem is capitalism.

If natural resources, for example, were seen as the property of all humanity rather than some capitalist, society would be significantly different and the coup in Iran, amongst others, would not have occurred.

we were just talking along that line today at work. when young, lots of people are 'peace, love, dope. (me included). but then ya get into the workforce, do your best for your family, make a good living, see the taxes go up to take care of fuckups (rather than the basic infrastructure) and wonder WTF. if you are succesful in making a good living, you will start to go right as age comes on.
