Ace, give us a run down on that new Z some time. :good:

Best trail 4 stroke ever made.  The trail manners bridge the gape between a two and 4 stroke.   Power isn’t up to par of a thundercat. The active suspension is noticeable.

No nerds gaped today, but took off at 3 after mounting some new shocks on Blue Betty.  Put on 65 solo miles.  Conditions were pretty damn good considering the lack of snow.

Wtf  Weren’t you talking shit about ski-doo all last year and saying the cat 800 is the best sled on snow?

It is the best 800 you can get that’s not debatable

Put 50 miles on yesterday afternoon, being a total degenerate the whole time.

Ran into the Trailing Arm Mafia while putting on gas.

Of course one of them had to tell me how their old XC600 is just as fast as the new stuff.  Met them again when I stopped for a Dr. Pepper a couple towns over.

Groomer going out tonight, but I'm feeling like the groomer ran me over with whatever is going through our house.

Some good and bad today.  Around town and several fields were scratchy and/or windblown and need more snow.  Other areas were sweet for many miles.  They need more snow for sure.  :bc:

Fuck that. That picture makes my back hurt just looking at it. What’s the dry weight on that thing, 625? :flush:

WTF do you think the 50+ years old were riding when those old sleds were new back 25 years ago?

I can handle a little back pain riding the old sleds for 1 1/2 months because the overpriced new sleds cause far more pain in the wallet than they do the back.

A clean older sled costs $3k+ in these parts. I paid $6k for my ‘21 Indy 600 with 3k miles on it. Sold my 2006 Fusion 600 for $2500. Zero regrets. Right place at the right time. I won’t argue about the price of new either and avoid it like the plague, if I can.
