Soviet Russia is a good representation of Communism because for the most part it matches all of the Communist countries in the historical record. It is a good representation of what Communism is, in practice. North Korea is not a good representation of a Republic because it absolutely does not match the historical record of what a Republic is. There are many Republics all around the globe which stand in defiance of DPRK's version of a "Republic". DPRK is the outlier, NOT the standard representation. There are plenty of Socialist or Democratic Socialist countries around the world which do not match Nazi Germany, so again, Nazi Germany is the outlier, not the standard representation of "Socialism".
