Crnr2Crnr
2022/2023 Season Bump Just dropped off the boat and picked up the sleds. Was hoping to pop the clam open and fire them up after a little prep work, but of course... it's raining. Shouldn't have much to do this year other than normal maintenance... may replace the studs in the Cobra but need to examine the existing ones and see where Fast-Trac is for pricing this year. Glad I'm not waiting in line for a fuel pump recall. Edited October 16, 2022 by Crnr2Crnr

Glad I'm not waiting in line for a fuel pump recall. I don’t know a single person that plans to not ride their sled because of that recall. Myself included. Wanted to send the primary off the RMK to Indy Specialities this year but I’m thinking that sled is going to get upgraded to an Axys at the end of this season, first of next. So, it will get a fresh set of engine mounts, do the little bit of powder coat work I’ve been wanting to do, and ride it. My recall time bomb just needs the battery topped off and it’s good to go. 1

Too bad Fox gives the gigantic middle finger to Polaris trail sled owners because I would legit/SERIOUSLY consider a set for my Indy. I used to rip out the QS3 adjuster and put in the DCS adjuster for racing. That is a $1000 upgrade right now (last price I saw on the DSC kit was $219.99/shock). If so he can revalve them for your specific weight and riding conditions. had him do the IFP's on the SP a few years ago and along with some spring adjustments, noticeable improvement for a non-resi shock for trail use. Stupid people will be us calling around the 2nd week of January Had our neighbor up north corner me at my BILs wedding this weekend. Wants me to do all the maintenance on his fleet, in the pole barn up there, with no electricity, heat, tools, etc. I had been into the bourbon for about 4ish hours when he asked me this. I think my laughter in his face wasn’t the answer he was looking for. He’s got like 5 sleds ranging from IQRs to a 998 Viper XTX. I’d do it all in a heartbeat. In my garage. At home. 1

Yeah. Had a friend valve the rears for me last year when he was rebuilding them. With the heavier torsions it’s really good. My fat ass beats the dog shit out of rear skid shocks though. Would be nice to have resi shocks back there for nothing more than the added oil capacity. Ive just never hustled a 155” tracked sled as hard as that RMK on QS3s as I did that day. Not because that’s what it is made for but it made a huge difference in everything that sled did when you rode it. Just found it impressive, that’s all.
