In this case, per the body cam footage, the unarmed suspect resisted and jumped in his car. You know damn well the cops knew who they were dealing with, so when he goes diving back into the car, what do you think the cops should do, let the idiot grab a firearm (That was what he had a warrant for, they don't know he doesn't still have that firearm) to fire back at them first? Clearly the cop in this case made a mistake (Taser vs Firearm), and will be paying for it. That is the tragedy of this whole situation, besides the 20 year old who died because he decided to try and fight. If the call to his mother is ever released, it sounded like she told the kid to put your hands up and don't resist! So the MOM tried. Tragic in every way. I will say this, it appears the Gov and the Mayors learned something last summer. They are stepping in right away to not let another 5 days of destruction happen. Sounds like they will not be tolerating that kind of rioting this time, I guess we will see how prepared they are, and if the instigators stay home this time. Stopping a black guy for a traffic violation where he gets killed by a hopped up cop is wrong. Keep it up and there will be more bodies. But yeah those negros.
