Can anyone tell me why they would bale soybean stalks?

Run them through a bale grinder for bedding.

I was just thinking that it would be kind of prickly. But that might condition it little.

It isn't ideal but the grinder helps. Corn stalks are much preferred

One our landowners had a bad day yesterday

My friend's combine burned last week.

Looks like they might be able to salvage the head on it.

You might be able to salvage half the head on my friends.  I'm not sure there is any red left on it.

Half the head on that one also burned.  Our club president said that one started on fire hours after they we done nobody was around and a neighbor seen it burning.  Not sure if it was electrical or something smoldering for that long.

Back in the day, we had a 9860 smolder for 3 days.  Never started on fire, couldn't get it to stop smoldering.

It was traded off the next week.  Still going too.

My actual first sled with along with the latest sled. My daughter won't be able to drive or ride on either one in earnest until next year, but she does enjoy climbing all over them and even pushing the start button on the newest one :beer_cheers:

Lol

I draw the line on Cheese heads.

We're heading up tomorrow and there's been a deer camp on the far back of our land for years.  Stopped by them a few years ago and friendly asked if they knew who owned the land?  They said they were government land.  Oh OK.

We stop now every year and they always offer up a warm welcome and clean up their sight when they leave.

All good.
