When asked if I can help finish signs for someone tomorrow and what time we need to be up….

”No rush... we'll be done by noon without trying - just like 100 miles before lunch!”

I wish more clubs out here would do it.  Both clubs we are members of just say "the drag will take care of it", even though we offer up a tractor, smaller disk, and smaller roller to both them.

Clubs in Stearns county do something similar, at least in the Cold Spring/St. Martin/Paynesville area.  It is excellent riding for field riding.

We had some clubs that we groom for that also thought the drag would level out a frozen plowed field awhile back.  We told them we would skip the fields that did not at least have the plowed fields knocked down and we did skip some fields and the phone rang off the hook.  Since then the clubs been making a good effort and have hired us to level off some fields.  Even if it's frozen we have access to tractors with blades to get them leveled out.

Hope that makes it all the way up to New Germany as the fields there have absurd corn balls.

Enough for shakedown run anyways!!

One of our club members went out yesterday, with his wife, and did a small loop on our trails.  He said the woods are good, but it's still a bit thin in the exposed areas.  It'd be great to see this same type of storm hit again and drop another 5"-6"

Saw that too .... :wall:  Longer range is looking decent though & hopefully will provide us with a couple months of good riding.
