This was nothing like that. Playing a little off the side of the trail and went to go back on, and she nose dived under the groomer pack.

They’ve put a ton of bridges in on that stretch in the last few years. Almost more of a causeway in places.

Been a long time since I’ve taken 25!I was surprised at the new bridges!!

Years ago we hit this trail every trip but then it started to be neglected and rough as hell!!

Nice to see it back in shape!

May have to hit it next winter!!

It’s been super well taken care of the last few… like you say sometimes that southern end isn’t but it was good when we went.

Man I thought Maine had some strange trail names. Which reminds me, just saw that a pretty big bridge was vandalized out this way, which sucks given that trail maintenance and upkeep is pretty much all volunteer.

A good hour. I drive an expedition extreme 20 wide, and I call it the tow truck. Usually what happens is one of them get stuck in my job is to snow bungee them out. Nine times out of 10 no problems, but this time all three of us were stuck. And when that 20 wide gets stuck, it usually involves some digging and a lot of lifting. It turns out we drove down this creek bed, and broke through 3 feet of snow and ice to the creek below. What a mess.
