What’s your favorite small kitchen utensil

I bought a potato ricer a few years ago. You will never have better mashed potatoes anywhere once you start using this item. 
 

i made five pounds of yukon golds today. You boil the potatoes and then you strain them. I then run all the potatoes through the ricer. I use Kosher salt fresh ground pepper two sticks of butter and heavy whipping cream.  The heavy whipping cream is measured by eye and consistency. Once the potatoes are riced and the ingredients are added i whisk it all together.

Instead of boiling them, try steaming them. They’ll have a richer taste. 👍🏻
