Sure the wind feels awesome in your tee-shirt and on your helmetless head but I highly doubt it will be worth the feeling of the first responders picking bits and pieces of you off the pavement. Even half helmets to me are a bit of a bone head idea. Local guy got a rock just above the eye that came from over top his windshield. And another guy dropped his bike and his chin hit the curb. Give me a full face helmet every day of the week. i rode with at least my armored jacket 90% of the time but it sucks on hot days stopped in traffic even with it being all mesh. Oh absolutely. My jacket is crazy heavy and waterproof so the only ventilation is with zip open vents.
