The Egyptian pyramids and Sphinx is like the ultimate monument to the leaders of oppressors.  Wonder when they are coming down.

Indeed, good comparison. People from all over the world came to see silent Sam and his contribution to geometry, precise building skills, and knowledge of an ancient civilization. God you are an insufferable anal stick.

Think of how many people were starved, beaten, whipped, and spent their entire life in shackles building geometry things and statues honoring their enslavers

A couple towns over has a statue of a early settlement leader riding his horse. (Late 1600s early 1700s era). Every year the Indian tribes get out of their casino's and travel up to the town and cover the statue with red paint to signify the name sake of the statues treatment of natives back in the day. The town was talking about getting rid of the statue but the Indians talked them out of it. Without the statue the issue could easily be forgotten but with the statue once a year the Indians get to send a reminder.
