When it hits that 30,000 that you were talking about you’ll all be able to afford to Golf with Trump

Shut the fuck up retard.

You have good fund options.

BlackRock Equity Index Fund T (INDEXT)

DFA International SCV Port I (DISVX)

Vanguard Russell 2000 Val Ind (VRTVX) tradeRestrictIcon.gif

And none of these will fund EJ Ferrari's.

Poor triggered Driftbitch.

Triggered?  Youre the original triggered.  You came in here and made such a complete fool of yourself, a bunch of us put you in your place, and you've been lashing out like a wounded animal ever since.  At this point, all you're accomplishing is bringing more attention to what a moron you are, from your investing prowess posts, to your comments about American politics.  You're answering all the wrong and irrelevant questions and actually serious in comparing our president to a genocidal maniac.  You're that fucked up.

Ya gotta get this timing notion out of your head, especially given we're still in a bull market believe it or not.  They pound it into ours constantly.  :bc:  I'll plug those funds in and see what they look like on our systems, and what kind of performance and downside protection history they have when I get to the office Monday.

That’s a long reply coming from you.  I’m surprised you had Edward Jones cock out of your mouth long enough to make that reply.

When shit falls apart you can remember how smart you thought you were now.

Continue to prove everyday you are the sites biggest moron.

There is no better strategy than below, simple buy and hold.  Timing the markets, bonds, hedging strategies to reduce risk are always eclipsed by the long term growth plan.

“Let me give you a figure that’ll blow your mind I think. I bought my first stock when I was 11 years old. It was the first quarter of 1942, shortly after Pearl Harbor,” Buffett recalls. “I spent $114.75, [for] shares [of a stock.] $114.75. If I put that $114 into the S&P 500 at that time and reinvested the dividends, think of a figure as to what it…would be worth today,” he asked me?

So, what do think?

$10,000?

$75,000?

I’ll give you some help. That’s way low.

Let’s pick it up with Buffett again: “The answer is about $400,000. So if I as a little kid had taken that 114 bucks I’d saved— shoveling snow (LAUGH) or whatever I’d done, [I’d have] $400,000 today. [In] one person’s lifetime. That’s America. I mean, that isn’t me. You know, it’s the huge tailwind the American economy gives to any equity investor.”

Keep buying your GIC's or whatever you call your certificates of depreciation up there.  You're clearly much smarter than people who do this for a living.    dipshit.

It’s growth based on expansion of debt and most recently propped up by quantitative easing.

Let’s see what happens to the markets when they aren’t being subsidized by free money

Did you know the fed has been on a quantitative tightening schedule for some time now?  Gives more credence to the strength of the current economy.  The real question is the impact this will have on the markets.

GIC’s and Christmas club savings accounts.  Those are the wave of the investment future.  Send it to your upline so they can find something else for you all to do.
