  1. Sent in my contribution. Let's keep this site rolling!
  2. Did I read this correctly, 3 payments of $1700 each. Total of $5100. This is a peanuts amount and should receive minimal attention. I vote conservative. Ridiculous accusation. Find something meaningful.
  3. gotta love the Bruins. that being said anything less than the Stanly Cup and the NHL will dub the Bruins season a failure, me included.
  4. Ben, what do you consider being rich? Wages? Accumalated wealth?
  5. Love the Bruins since 1972. Marchand is a stud. Great team player. Any team would welcome him with open arms. Check out his consistency.
  6. We use a service that uses a fogger to eliminate mosquitos. Thinking of buying a fogger and doing it myself. The service comes 2-4 times a year and is here for 15 minutes. They do a great job. Firm is called Mosquito Squad.
  7. Bruins fan since 72. Best sport to watch. Of course, watching a sport as fast as hockey requires complete understanding of the rules and play making both with and without the puck. 60 minutes of action. Football has like 16 minutes of actual playing time.
  8. You'll love it. I have 2 and they are the most dependable fun cars to drive. Change the oil, new brakes and tires ready to go.
  9. I have a great story. Moving 2 sleds in an enclosed trailer. I forgot to raise the front jack. Just started the trip and went over a bridge that spanned over a highway. As soon as I hit the bridge the trailer popped off the ball. The trailer crossed the road and stopped just short of a car that contained 1 woman driver and 2 children in the back seat. 1 sled broke the tie downs and went right though the front of the trailer, ran up the ladies hood and the front ski bounced off her windshield. God was with me that day. The trailer didn't roll off the bridge onto the expressway, the sled didn't crash through the ladies window. I had safety cables on the taller that were old and rotted out, they spanned immediately. To top that off, we were hosting an end of season party for my daughter's soccer team. Lots of inquisitive looks from parents picking up their kids. Thankfully, my wife new the lady and I just had to pay to repair her car.
  10. John, I think a reminder post a few times a year will help generate membership donations. I know many appreciate your efforts and keeping the site going. Arnie
  11. Just joined. Been reading the blogs here for years. Great forum. I don't post often but enjoy the banter. Let us know if you are running the red. The service you provide for all these knuckleheads is well worth a few bucks, much less than seeing a psychologist.
  12. I agree the tongue looks very long. Anyway to weld it back on and reinforce it. I remember havign some welding work done on an aluminum snowmobile trailer. Worked fine once it was done.
  13. New York State, bank of America, Chase, M&T. perhaps it's a state mandate
  14. accepting cash is a pain at the bank. If you want to deposit $1K + you have to fill out paperwork verifying where it came from. It's their form of checking for money laundering.
  15. Shut down US 1 to Key West today. Can only get down if you live there , work there or are delivering goods. Pretty strong moves to protect the island.
  16. Upstate is 300 miles away from NYC. Public transportation is still running in NYC
  17. Disgusting, some people are real idiots. I hope she gets charged
  18. I live in upstate New York. we've been on non-essential business closures since last Friday. We're basically Stay at Home since Monday We have 750,000 residents, 142 confirmed cases, 32 hospitalized, 3 deaths. It doesn't sound like a lot of infections. My SIL is a surgeon and said the SARS epidemic in Toronto was more serious. Not that this is not serious, just his perspective. I think if we all practice social distancing and are smart about taking care of ourselves we will get by this pandemic quicker.
  19. I like how this started as "Dinner for tomorrow Night" and ended with politics. Nice looking sandwich!!
  20. I'd say 60~65%. consider basically all retail is shutdown. Non-essential manufacturing shutdown, My SIL is a surgeon, he's only working on emergency cases and his staff has been sent home. . My daughter is a pediatrician and her practice is only working part time and sent the staff home. We work with many business owners, all that are non-essential have closed down. We're going to see a spike in unemployment applications that are unprecedented. Let's hope we curb this virus soon and return to normal. If the Senate works out a plan where healthy younger workers can return to work sooner than older workers and workers with underlying health issues perhaps we'll start the economy back up in 6 weeks. stay safe!
