There were some struggles at first with a Track Truck landing in our lap with no clue what to do with it.

The club that I belonged to in NH wanted to buy a PB several years ago, but the state department that administered the grants wanted us to get a Prinoth Husky. The Husky was nice, but the TrailBully was nicer. We ended up with what the state wanted, lol

It's fucking lunacy. Had a 4 wheel drive soucy tracked Kubota with a unknown tilting pan drag., and an articulating New Holland tractor with a mogul master Husky blows them outta the water in every way but price. I'd like that tilting pan on my drag if I could.
Voodoo
6 minutes ago, NaturallyAspirated said: You get what you get and you don’t throw a fit! Neal Lol... Everyone wants to be a groomer operator...until they are one. Add onto that, having it at your house, fixing it in your shop, storing it year round and much more..... I have more power in the equation than I exert most of the time. Edited March 28 by Voodoo

We already had $25k from the Federal Recreational Trails Program grant as part of the clubs matchand the state was only going to give us enough to buy the leftover Husky. It was either get the Husky or waste the RTP grant. We got the Husky.

Both were extremely quiet in the cab compared to our Tucker.

At one point we had an older 2000 with steel tracks that we traded in on our Tucker Terra 1000. The Tucker served it's purpose and was the rig to have in our hilly and twisty trails. The Tucker was also easier to train new operators with.

One of our members was friends with AL Schampers from Kaukauna Wisconsin and he was kind of a tester for Tucker. They bought 3 of his used machines and that was one of them. They've bought 2 new ones from Track Inc now in the last few years. The wrap on the newest one is badass.
