How about that. Fucking scoundrels. UAW needs to hold out of the 40%. BTW, expect dealers to shut down parts sales. Get what you need now.

do you or anyone else here have any idea how puny the UAW is in comparison to the actual US workforce?

0.07%

just FYI...

imagine if the teet suckling US federal government workers went on strike... or the Republicans in Congress shut this fucker down.  they don't have the balls though...

i didn't even worry about it. i can only stock up so much . what individual parts we need no one knows , and those will be the issue. i can get brakes and such easy. but a trailer brake module or something may cause issues. in 19 they were way more prepared as far as stock , this time they already don't have a ton of shit. good for them if they get the big hit , but it will do damage that lasts a long time if it drags on

If the money is better outside the UAW then go find work outside the UAW

I would be absolutely thrilled with a 20% wage increase.   And perhaps a reduced work week to 45 hours.

32 hours?   Where do these guys come up with this

What’s wrong with 4 8’s from a middle class worker perspective?  Many studies have shown across the globe that 32 hour in a work week gains some productivity for business that have tested it.  Most business that have tried it typically have stayed on 32 hour weeks.

lot less sick days and called off days used by 32 hour week workers.  Happier and more productive employees.  The list goes on and on for benefits.  Middle class and poor would have a better work like balance as well as less child care expenses and such.
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/world/4-day-work-week-trial-yields-overwhelming-success-in-u-k-researchers-say

For companies that rolled out the shorter work hours — whether it was one less workday a week or longer hours in parts of the year and shorter hours the rest of the time to make an average 32-hour week — revenue wasn't affected, the findings say.

Revenue grew 1.4 percent over the course of the trial for 23 companies that provided adequate data — weighted for the size of the business — while a separate 24 companies saw revenue climb more than 34 percent from the same six-month period a year earlier.

No complaints:lol: but contracts under Hoffa were mediocre at best.

The new teamster Prez was out to make a name for himself and flex 💪 his might.

It worked, and sure the company makes a ton of money but at the same time it could do more harm than good in the long run and during down times when competing against the competition....and some of the members wanted more and voted No. WTF do they want to be happy? Bankrupt the Co. ?

Was hoping for more of a jump in pension at this stage of the game but they put it into hourly wage instead.

How about if a couple million small business owners  or 25 million conservative American's all stopped paying taxes at once.   Paid a portion into a defense fund that would cover the fine that pays the fine when the IRS comes after you.   They simply can only go after so many.   It would bring the govt to its knee's in a hurry.

Only demands would be term limits and vote on a balanced budget amendment.

I've been saying this for awhile when having discussions with friends. Everyone's all for it, but the masses are to afraid.  It's sad some don't realize the people have the power.
