Flying squirrels are cool. I’ve only ever seent two in my life here though. One jumping off a barn and one time my cat brought one home

couldn’t  believe how it could glide in the air

You can walk right up to the Flying Squirrels if you want when you see them on a tree.

Don't walk directly towards them, work back and forth, 20-25 feet at a time, narrowing that distance as you get closer to them.  They'll sit there until you reach out and try to touch them before they fly off.  Used to do this all the time when I had my cabin in Northern Sconnie.... Just for taking close up pics.

My wife took these pics 2 weeks ago at our cottage, we feed the birds and critters and the flying squirrels show up a t night, cute little buggers.

May be an image of bird and nature
