Meanwhile Ford is delivering their F150 Lightening.

Tesla "missed the full size truck and SUV market" because Ford started delivering F150 Lightnings

gm is building bigger ev and has nothing but shit up to this point. go ahead, buy that 116k , 9000lb hummer. let them do some more learning at your expense. and before long there will be no one to fix them anyway. gm said a few years ago "cars are dead". no, your cars are dead because they are garbage. that's what no one wants

Not sure why they pushed the EV Hummer. They should've stuck to going EV with their 1500 trucks first and beat Ford to the market for once.

Whoever fixes the terrible battery tech will win if they can patent it

Ford released the lightning but it’s a useless pile of trash so that doesn’t mean much

Musk was once seen as being motivated by altruistic principles. He’s been exposed as just another billionaire driven by the bottom line. Nothing special about him from that perspective. Brilliant man though.

Solid state battery storage is where it’s at. Toyota is the leader right now with over 1700 patents and will have a car out in the next 5 years. Get rid of the weight issue with batteries and now we’re getting somewhere.

You can't really use the market cap alone to compare the value of a company.  Everyone makes that mistake.

Either way, Tesla lost more in enterprise value from March to today than GM and Ford are worth total combined.  I guess the market doesn't agree with Motortrend.  Do you believe the millions of investors or Motortrend?

Enterprise value:
Tesla $769 billion, was $1.11 trillion in March.

GM $131 billion

Ford $142 billion

Enterprise Value (EV) - Formula, Definition and Examples of EV

No you can't but market cap often or "should" reflect many things including the financial health of the company.  Offers often come in above.   I believe Musk's offer for Tesla was around 10% above cap.

Graphene aluminum ion might be where it’s at if someone can figure out how to affordably produce Graphene

i think that will be the general sentiment. imagine what the tires cost , and how quick 1000 hp can burn them off. and the constant talk about crabwalk. who the hell needs that. just another message to repeat itself until you fix it .
