Physician accused of performing unwanted hysterectomies in an ICE detention center not board certified OB-GYN

Dr. Mahendra Amin, the physician accused of performing unwanted or unnecessary gynecological procedures at an immigrant detention facility, is not certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), The Daily Beast reported.

On Monday, several immigration advocacy groups representing a whistleblower filed a complaint to the Office of the Inspector General, alleging "jarring medical neglect" and the occurrence of unwanted and unnecessary hysterectomies at the Irwin County Detention Center in Ocilla, Georgia.

In the complaint, Dawn Wooten, a licensed practical nurse who was previously employed by the center and is represented by Project South and Government Accountability Project, reported witnessing a large number of hysterectomies performed on immigrant women detained in the facility.

"Everybody he sees has a hysterectomy—just about everybody," Wooten said of one doctor who she described as "the uterus collector." Three lawyers cited by NBC News later identified the physician as Dr. Mahendra Amin.

Probably.

And being a government facility, they are most likely super pro-union and always vote (D) too.

Did Obama Admin Build Cages That House Immigrant Children at U.S.-Mexico Border?

While under scrutiny for treatment of migrants, the Trump administration has been shifting blame to its predecessor.

Claim

The Obama administration, not the Trump administration, built the cages that hold many immigrant children at the U.S.-Mexico border.

How many undocumented immigrants did the Obama administration deport?

As former Vice President Joe Biden defends himself from attacks on the number of deportations during the Obama administration, it's worth taking a look at the numbers.

Department of Homeland Security data shows that the agency removed more than 3 million immigrants in the country illegally from 2009 to 2016. That's an average of 383,307 per year.

And obeying  Roman Laws. Illegal is Illegal no matter how anyone wishes it isn't..are we to condone breaking the Law? If so where does it end? Which Laws should/can we break and which Laws should we obey? There are Legal ways to come here, do it Legally and no one will have an issue with it.

Yeah we’ve heard that lie before that they just want people to come here legally. When Trump instituted his ban it stranded people overseas who previously had a right to be here and followed all the laws, yet the FSCE brain trust said it was fine. “Legal immigration” is just a cute way for people to sidestep the fact that they don’t want those people immigrating here.

Do you believe we should allow illegals to come here and stay here?

We should expand the work visa program and allow Mexican and Central American immigrants to come and go as they used to. They should be able to easily obtain a work visa, show it at the border and go on their way.

Coming here to work, sure, I agree, but not to stay unless they go thru the Legal channels to obtain citizenship.
