Fireball 440
Got all this time on my hands, 4 weeks minimum. Not even 2 weeks into it and I'm running out of projects so last night said fuck it and started diving into the big one. The rear main seal shit out 6 weeks ago and the oil drips right down onto the crossover pipe and smokes like Cheech & Chong. The oil pan is rusted out as well and the gasket leaks a little. Time to seal it up. One exhaust manifold gave up the ghost in the process so during lunch I'm looking up a set of headers. I was hoping to put the engine back in tomorrow but being a 26 year old truck I knew something would break on disassembly, so it can sit a week if it needs to. - I have a set of GT-40 heads (not yet ready) and intake for this truck, replacing camshaft at that time. 1-2 years down the road probably.

racinfarmer
Cleaning the garage and working on the Bucket of Speed was a good start. This year should have been a 55 gallon drum of speed...
Fireball 440
It's looking nicer and mostly together. Expecting another Summit box in the mail today with ignition parts. Planning to drop it back in the truck over the weekend.

Fireball 440
In she goes. I'm a one man show so it was about an hour struggle to get it in there. Not too bad really other than the boom on my hoist is too short.
