Job growth screeches to a near halt in May, with private payrolls up just 27,000

Recommended Posts

Unemployment is at a record low, not sure it can go much lower but we cant hire enough people right now. This is why all news is fake, it reads like an anti Obama job report. :news:

A lot more than you might think.

Average US household income is $59,000.

2 adults x $18/hour x 2000 hours/year = $72,000/year

Probably need to drink Coors to save enough money for cigarettes though.

Depends on the area, I will bet most in my county live on 15.00 and less.

you also seem to live in a low cost area which is the point that gets missed most of the times when living wage conversations occur.

this economy is better than anything the Kenyan could do

That's a fact

it's built on the  back of what started during obies term he just failed to give the confidence.  structurally trumps done very little different,  plenty of talk but minimal actual actions.

Cheaper taxes perhaps, but gas and food is  generally higher than Metro areas.

Home prices used to be reasonable, at least when I moved here in 1991, now it's like everywhere else, there are homes here over 2 million - 5 million dollars.

I’m worth about 400,000 US dollars for what ever I’m paid to do.  European work hours. When do I start and where?

so you're saying the market should dictate wages, not government?

He cut the corporate tax rate which in turn repatriated  a large amount of investment capital and spurred investment. This of course came with massive deficits. Basically gave a multi year drug fix with a devastating effect on the long term economy. Why no one can see this is totally beyond me.
