Judge dismisses lawsuits over Clinton emails Source: thehill By Max Greenwood - 11/10/17 02:04 PM EST A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a pair of lawsuits from conservative groups seeking to force the State Department to continue its search for Hillary Clinton's emails. In a 26-page ruling, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg argued that the FBI had already "pursued every imaginable avenue to recover the missing emails" from Clinton's tenure as secretary of State, and that there was no evidence to suggest that additional search efforts would uncover more information. "The Court of Appeals may have asked the Government to 'shak[e] the tree harder' for more emails, but it never suggested that the FBI must shake every tree in every forest, without knowing whether they are fruit trees," Boasberg wrote. While Clinton's emails have long been the subject of numerous Freedom of Information Act requests, the pair of lawsuits filed by conservative watchdog groups Judicial Watch and Cause of Action Institute took a different legal route....................................................... Talk about suspension of disbelief. You're ok with Comey getting up on national tv, listing all the laws she broke, but then somehow concluding she wouldn't be indicted? That he drafted that statement before the investigation was complete and before Clinton was even interviewed? That Lynch meeting Bill on the tarmac was not a mother of all ethics breaches, and something they attempted to do in secret, that she directed everyone to describe the investigation as a "matter" and not an investigation? That the fact that Clintons appointed her and an ethical lawyer would have recused herself from the matter, just like Sessions did? That destroying all that evidence, while under subpoena isn't a jailable offense all by itself? I could go on, but its obvious you either missed it or are so partisan you can't admit that she broke many laws that would have you or me in jail?
