There are two subs with the USS Carl Vinson strike group deployed to that region in April this is what Trump meant in that convo. Being deployed off North Korea is no secret either as its been allover the news. "Each of the Navy's carrier battle groups consist of an aircraft carrier; an embarked carrier air wing; cruisers, destroyer, and frigate units; and two nuclear-powered attack submarines."
