I hope Vivek stays far away from Trump. Trump is so toxic anyone joining his cabinet in any capacity is guaranteed to be destroyed reputation wise.

Seems like that's what happened last go round with Trump's cabinet.

Like a dozen people that he had around him going on with criminal matters.

He will bend the knee to Trump, sadly.

They were making a big deal before yesterday if he didn't garner over 50%.  He didn't even win Iowa in 2016....Rubio did.

I'd like to see the response of those same people now that he did take over 50%.

Trump won 98 of the 99 counties and lost Johnson County (Iowa City Area) to Haley by one vote 1271-1270.   Pretty dominating performance.

I'm just glad its over so the ads can fucking stop for a while.  2016 was a nightmare with both parties going with more than a dozen candidates.   That's all you seen or heard was political ads.

"Almost half of the base of the Republican party showing up for this caucus tonight voted against Trump. Think about that,"

Oh FFS.....generally its 75% when there's a large field and nobody says anything.   50% voted against Hillary in 2016 and 60% voted against the winner Obama in 2008.

Whoever said it last night, summed it up pretty well.  You could have added up DeSantis and Haley and they'd still come up 10 points behind Trump.  The TDS'ers just need something to hang their hats on I guess.

He wasn’t a president then.

Trumps done.

Haley and DeSantis didn’t run one negative ad against Trump or even slightly mention him in the debates. Haley rip toes around him.

he barely got 50% of the vote. Iowans wanted another candidate besides Trump and remember 39% of registered voters in Iowa are independents.
