What is a cost to the big 3 will benefit all the other automakers that aren’t the big 3 as the republicans instituted CAFE credits that manufactures can buy and sell which allows for the avoidance of federal fines. Buying CAFE credits from non union manufactures is much cheaper than fines…. Repubs had some great foresight by instituting CAFE credits.
