I was quite surprised how very few averaged over 20 mpg. A 75 Honda civic barely got 20 mpg. The VW rabbit was the most fuel efficient. A ford 6.0 would put out more emissions then a 6.7 , but it would go 35 % further on the same amount of fuel.
