You poor fucking Canadians. You really need to think before you vote.

Other than the insurance it's nothing to do with that. Not saying canada isn't socialist especially quebec but the number of miles (km?) per rider is incredible up there. You just don't have the traffic and someone has to pay for all those trails.

Now gas prices on the other hand - that's purely due to who they keep voting for.

Just sayin. If prices were in line, you would gain riders. Fuck Trudeau! That little communist Bitch!

Screw that, per year?  Per sled?  So do you all only have one sled, no vintage/fun sleds?  I keep five registered that'd be $2500 per year lol WTF!!!!!  Rich man's sport up there no grassroots apparently.

If you think that is bad, it is $95,000 to have the privilege to own 1 car in Singapore for 10 years.  That doesn't include anything other then the ability to own 1.

Oh, at the end of 10 years, you can renew it or drop it.  If you drop it, you have to sell the car.

And the cars cost 3x-15x what they cost in the US.

Best trails in the world cost money to run.

You keep buying girls sleds and stay close to home.

Lol at best trails in the world but what makes these trails so much more expensive?  We're talking approximately 12x as expensive.

This should be good..

That’s for non residents, covers liability insurance on your sled and I’m pretty sure medical insurance for people not from Canada. They’re never rough, they’re actually marked properly and they’re constantly grooming. It’s definitely a decent chunk of change but I think the Maine and vermont passes are around 200 and I’ve never ridden maine but Vermont blows. Quebec is definitely the only option for people from NY/PA/NJ/Mass if you want to go somewhere. Where I used to go in Quebec you’d be lucky to pass 50 people in an 800 mile weekend

I could see non resident passes being more so that's fair but no way in hell I'd ever pay it but I also pay way less for smooth trails and also very low traffic.  I'd never see even 50 people on trail in a weekend and I also ride very smooth trails, that's why I like older trail sleds because the trails are mint.

Maine is $120 and definitely the best bang for your buck in New England. Never rode in VT but Maine blows away NH. I don’t think $300 is bad considering it includes insurance.

The drive blows from NY and the west side of the New England states though. I could be where I rode in QC in a little over 3 hours all highway, get on the highway, get off in Trois Rivieres and the hotel was across the street from the off ramp. We went to Pittsburg for a weekend when the border was closed and I was thoroughly unimpressed, shoulda drove the extra couple hours to maine.

Oh ya Maine is a haul from NY. I was just saying out of the 3 New England states with consistent riding it’s the cheapest and best/most trails. Pittsburg is overrated the northern tip of NH just doesn’t have the area to accommodate tons of riders and since everyone flocks to Pittsburg especially on low snow years ya not fun. Errol,Millsfield,Milan is the sweet spot in NH but it’s still limited riding you can do.
