Doctors always could. It’s considered off label prescribing. About 20% of all prescriptions are off label. The ignorance here has no bounds.

So they could prescribe it but it they talked about its benefits then they would get fired.

Tower Health became aware yesterday of the allegations involving Dr. Edith Behr prescribing Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of COVID-19. We investigated the matter and, as a result, Dr. Behr’s employment with Tower Health Medical Group has been terminated effective immediately.

By your moron logic Trump must be guilty of all charges as he has been indicted.  Perhaps if you read something other than fake news you'd actually know about what the FDA did and didn't do.  By your statement it is obvious you don't.

*cue the off topic tweets and idiot response

The court that posted its indictment before any witnesses were called?  That court.

You are one fucking idiot.

They’re not being sued. A previous lawsuit on this was thrown out. The hearing was a request to revive the lawsuit. Very doubtful it’s going anywhere.

That’s an issue between the doctors and their employer. Not the FDA.

The claim wasn't that they were suspended by the FDA just that they were.  I'm sure what the FDA and NIH was saying was used by the employers for termination.

Of course employers have a right to execute best practice and ethics standards. That is outside of the FDA’s control.
