Ass dragger heaven

I still remember those late 90's trips where we'd have a mix of Cat, Polaris, and Yamaha guys and when we'd get in our "brisk pace mode" the Polaris and Yamaha guys couldn't believe how easy it looked for the guys on the ZR's and EXT's to run the trails as fast as we did.

Ass draggers for sure :lol2:

Yes they had some good sleds through the 90's.  When did the Home Depot guy come in to start sinking the ship.

He sunk the ship. The “evil hardware store man” saved the ship buy getting Textron to bail it out

Cat had a power valved triple ready to go for the ZRT but production ended before it was released.

That would have been a impressive motor I'd bet.

It was an 1100 for the thunder cat. Jimmy dimmer ended up with one of them and has it in a sled. There is a video of him firing it up the first time. I can’t remember where the other one went. The zrt 600 did have power valves at the end of its life. The zrt500 engine they had ready to go would have been cool to.
