71 mile solo rip today, trails were nice, it’s been a long time since I can remember a March like this.

Yep rode Woodford and West Dover . Honestly was the best conditions it has been all year there. Hopefully this coming storm helps for another few weeks.

Got out for my third ride of the year yesterday. What a bizarre winter. January sucked, February wasn’t much better. Who would have thought we’d be riding in southern Ontario in mid March?

It was a great day until we got back to the trailer and realized I lost my wallet and keys to the truck. 

Raining here now so it’s done.

 

 

 

Another breakfast ride this morning on the old XCR440. Good thing the trails are like a table top. That stiff old sob kills my back but damn those old race sleds rail on smooth trails.

Hit cow country in north central VT yesterday  Most of it was the best riding of the yr. 

My riding bud was apparently trying to pass me in the fields. I never even knew he was there .

Guess I just threw snow at him and pulled away.

I swear, the snowmobile Gods do that on purpose so you forget all the crap you rode the rest of the season.

 

Went out last night local rip. I thought 3ft of fresh would keep local trails open little longer than a couple days but nope to warm to much sun trails are toast. Did about 10miles and gave up to beat so seasons done for me. Get out and enjoy the snow it’s going quick 👍 

Last ride for the year yesterday, 70 miles and most of the trails are really nice but our county decided to close the trails today. Warmer temps. and the high sun will wreak havoc quickly.

Beautiful day so went for a ride. 

 

 

Got to the lot today at 7am was already packed lol. So much snow in Southern VT right now. did 106 miles , some crazy deep single track were i couldn't see the trail from the drifts, then back to some wide open seasonal roads that were mint....Main trails were rough as hell by noon , lots of people out today. Loaded up around 4pm back home by 6:30.

Conditions here in the NW corner of WI are epic....

Looks mint 👍. I’m not far east of Woodford 60miles or so and it was a shit show here sat night. Did you run into any dirt or water?

Nope it was cold sunday so everything was frozen in that area . My sled looked spotless after 100 miles. All clean snow. 

Woodford really is a hidden gem. The elevation helps big time. 

Great riding in upstate NY last weekend. Only clicked off 230 miles for the weekend, could have done that in a day had I trusted the lakes on Saturday. Sunday was perfect, high temp in low 20’s with some fresh lake effect, but time was limited. Started in Indian Lake, should have trailered a little farther north. 

Did the last ride yesterday. The good was real good , the bad was real bad and the wet was real wet. 

Crossed a stream, I went right across butapparently broke the ice. My bud wasnt as lucky ,Fucking 8 inches of ice gave away to 3 feet of brook. He went for a swim.

Noticed the freshed groomed trail this morning on my dog walk so had to go for a ride today.
